What can you see with an 8 inch telescope?

Can I attach a camera to it?

For the Moon and planets with a small video style camera, yes. For deep sky imaging, no, because the base does not track. Trying to make a Dobsonian into an imaging platform costs more than starting with a proper equatorial mount would have.
